and the birthday celebration continues.  i had a great day at work yesteday, yes even though i had to work it was still a great day.  friends, family and co workers wished me a happy birthday, even peeps that i have not talked to remembered me.  this is a lesson for me to keep birthday reminders handy.  it feels great when you are remembered, especially on your birthday.

last night we had dinner at northwoods (steak house) in rosemead.  my brothers, mom, hubby and paulie went. we had such a great time laughing, i don't think i've laughed that much and that loud in a very long time.  i was very happy paulie was able to make it because he always gets the party started, always!  he truly is the life of the party with his contagious laugh.  mom had no idea what we were talking about but she could not help but laugh.

i got some great gifts from my family and hubby too.  i cannot wait to spend my gift cards and read the books frankie got me on doggies and open the flavored vinegar bottles too!

i really don't feel any different today.  i still feel the same, well except that i need to stop skipping the working out sessions because i am truly seeing mother nature at work...yikes!

palm springs in pretty hot but nice.  hubby is snoring away while i kill some time online.  i think now i will take a dip in the pool and enjoy some pina coladas.
