What's your favorite thing about springtime?
I love the blooming flowers and the not so hot weather...
first thing this morning i decided to water the lawn before it got too hot. while i watered i noticed most of my flowers look beautiful so i carefully watered them and planned on taking some pics right after i was done. i took my time to admire just about every flower while i listed to the killers on my ipod. the sun was pretty hot but i didn't mind, at least not yet.
here are a few of my faves and thanks again to my bro raymond for lending me his sony dsc-h1. *hugs*
so i decided to finally make a doctor appointment for my headaches plus some other things i'm concerned about. i know she is going to ask me to have a pap smear done....ugh. my appointment is for tomorrow morning. wish me luck! i cannot take these headaches any longer. i'm actually getting worried.
on a brighter note, i wanted to share some pics of my garden and some flowers i am going to plant this week.
here is hubby preparing the flower bed for me. ;-)
we had a really nice time in palm springs last weekend. it was a lot quieter than our last trip in october. we happened to go when it was "biker" weekend so the whole place was packed and almost all of the bars were full. this time i felt like we were at a senior retirement community, lol. don't get me wrong, we had fun, rested, had some good food, got our drink on and napped a lot. ;-)
friday morning after breakfast we stopped at the outlet stores and picked up some pants for hubby. before we checked in we picked up some booze (lol) and some snacks for our vegging out pool-side. the weather was nice, not too hot. friday night was pretty dead and after a late dinner we didn't feel much like bar hopping so we walked off our food instead. on saturday we spent most of the day napping, eating, and shopping. after a late night dinner we walked over to the indian casino and hung out at the lounge. there was a live band so we enjoyed that and lol at some weirdos on the dance floor.
i am so glad we planned this little mini-vacation, just the two of us with no distractions, well other than worrying about roxy at home. i think next time we are going to board him that way no one is inconvenienced or imposed upon.
we stayed here and i especially loved their flowers. i appreciated them so much that i took some pics and now that's inspired me to garden lots and lots of flowers this spring.
T and I decided to take advantage of this fabulous LA weather and do some gardening. I wanted to add some color to our backyard flower bed, redo our herb garden and plant 2 rose bushes. We planted some parsley, oregano, basil, sage and thyme...I can't wait till everything comes to a full bloom!
Roxxy even enjoyed some sunbathing today..check him out!
