What's your favorite thing about springtime?

I love the blooming flowers and the not so hot weather...

What's your best tip or trick for keeping your closet organized?

• i have almost all my shoes in the boxes they came in.  every time i wear a pair i make sure they go back t to their resting place and i make sure to wipe them down with a Lysol wipey.  
  
• i have all my handbags in cloth bags to keep them clean and in order.
• i make sure to go through my closets every so often and pull clothing i am no longer wearing or fit. 
  
• when i purchase a new article of clothing i look for an old item i no longer need and donate it.

What are your plans for the three day weekend?

• dinner with hubby tonight not sure where?  he's working later tonight so i'm meeting up with a friend for coffee.
• tomorrow i'm hanging out with my bro and possibly my mom.  we're going to return my iPhone case and replace it with a soft grip one instead. then we're going shopping for him, for baby clothes, and for me.  i have to get ready for my upcoming hawaii trip.
• on sunday evening i have a couples baby shower to go to for my cousin/little sister.  hubby is going to the races but the rest of my family will be there.  good times.
  
• on monday i guess i will chill out and/or hopefully my bff will be ready for me to visit.  he's recovering from his surgery but is still very uncomfortable.  *sigh*

Any last minute summer plans for the weekend?

• hanging out with some old friends this weekend hopefully.  one of them is recovering from surgery so i'll be busy helping him out.
• hanging out with bro, he's upgrading his iPhone since he can't handle me having something newer than his..LOL!
• my cousin's baby shower is on sunday.  i am certainly looking forward to hanging out with her and the rest of the family.
• monday?  recover perhaps, not sure yet...

What are you looking forward to this week?

It's only Sunday evening here in beautiful Los Angeles and I'm already looking forward to Friday.  Why?  Well it's Labor Day weekend, no work on Monday!

funny you ask that question. 

last week i got a call from an old friend that i had not talked to in about a year and a half.  the call was unexpected and out of nowhere but it was a nice surprise nonetheless.  my friend is going through some tough times right now, tougher than before and was in need of a little friendly companionship.

we went out for coffee and talked for hours.  it was nice to catch up but also sad to hear all the drama that's going on.  i know when someone needs to just be heard, when someone is lonely, or just a shoulder to cry on so i sat and listened...listened for hours.  i feel their pain.  i want to help.  i want to fix it but i know i can't.  but what i can do is be there for my friend.

What are you most looking forward to in August?

• my brother frank and sister espy's birthday
• our family reunion coming up next friday
• getting together with my girlfriend rosie this month
• just made plans to get together with an old friend that i haven't heard from in a year and a half
  
• my friend hoss's birthday
• paying off my visa (w00t!)
• end of summer bbq with friends and family
