no, i'm not giving my kids away! are you kidding me?! i am getting them a new house, a bigger dog house so they both fit inside. we figured it's going to start getting cooler and hopefully soon roxy will let bella sleep with him during the day and keep each other warm. i think we chose a great dog house from petsmart.com...hopefully.
Are you taking a vacation this summer (or this season)? Where are you headed and who's going with you?
Well, yes of course we are. We are starting the beginning of summer at one of my favorite places. We're going to Cambria for a couple of days and I cannot wait. We have not been back since Thanksgiving last year. We're trying out a new place this time which has internet access, yay! Roxy is not going with us this time, just me and hubby.
At the end of June we're meeting Tony's brother, sisters and spouses in
Vegas. His sister has a time-share so they are having a reunion. They started a "biggest loser" contest in January and the trip will be the final weigh in and the winner gets $625 plus dinner from all the losers, lol.I cannot wait to go on vacation!
Show us what wakes you up in the morning.

Well, hubby gets up first and Roxy runs right after him at around 5:00am then I go back to sleep until my radio alarm wakes me up at 5:50am to very depressing news...
so the old man (lol) and i had a very nice weekend. he painted our new back door (we chose a chocolate dark brown to go with our new roof). i hated choosing the color but overall i think it looks good and t did a great job painting. i tried to help but i can tell he wanted to handle it by himself and i was happy not to paint, lol. plus i didn't want to mess up my manicure, lol. =)
hubby went out of his way to make this weekend extra special, just for me and what's great about the whole thing is that it was not my idea! :)) way to go hubby!!!
So we got out treadmill yesterday and OMG it's a monster, a beast! The top panel looks like you're trying to go to space! I can't believe how different things look in a picture and then in real life, right in front of you. Sheesh!!! I was almost embarrassed that we ordered such a huge model. T keeps telling me that we made the right decision and ordered the right one, for us. I hope so...
So while he put it together I made dinner, on my time. I tried not to rush but for some reason every time I cook I feel like I'm in a cooking competition like Iron Chef show. Why is that? I don't know why I put so much pressure on myself?! Makes sense? Any tips?
I tried out the beast for the first time, I set it on 9 incline, 3 mph speed for 30 minutes. I was so out of breath but I kept going. This is the first time I set the incline over 8. I would usually start at 7 and end at 8. I was pretty proud of myself because I did a whole half hour at a 9 incline and boy was that tiring! T got on it too and by the time I was done showering he looked he just got out of the shower himself! Poor Roxy thought he was going for a walk when he saw us dressed in our gym gear. When he saw me getting on it he just stared at me jumped on until I told him to get away. How funny is that?
I hope tonight's work out will be better because I could not get used to the hand rails...wish me luck.
It's taken me a little bit to post about Easter but I guess better late than never. We were invited to my girlfriend Rosie's house for Easter. I made a zucchini casserole and got the kids some baskets. We had a really nice time and the food was excellent. Rosie really outdid herself because she made a lot of food....too much food I thought but nonetheless it was GREAT. Not only did she make ham but she also made macaroni and cheese (from scratch), corn bread, grilled bbq ribs, hot dogs, hot link, her niece made potato salad and my dish was the veggies filled with lots of cheese. The kids searched for eggs later in the evening while the adults enjoyed a cocktail or two. Roxxy scored too, he got a big old duckie from Brandon...do you think it might be a little too big for him? LOL!!!
Good times had by all.
What is your favorite term of endearment?

Hubby and I have always called each other "honey" but then I started calling him "lovey dovey" and later shortened it to "dovey". I call my little Roxy "chiquito wito". I know it does not make sense and it does not have to, it's just what I call him, in other words it means "little wittle" but in espanol. LOL! ;-)
I cannot believe April is tomorrow, already! I cannot believe how quickly time flies. Just the other day we welcomed the new year and now half the year is almost over...holly molly.
Last weekend we thought it would be nice to hang out at Disney...WRONG! It was so jam packed
(I'm guessing because of spring break) so we walked around just a bit and then decided to leave and have dinner at the Block @ Orange. Not before I shopped at Sephora and stocked up on some Benefit. The good thing about our Disney outing is that I managed to get some decent photos..check them out.
Now I'm off to run some errands...
