so yesterday i posted my L & L's and while i was posting a photo via flickr i clicked on it and pppprffft my post was gone, just like that.  so instead of re-doing it i decided to exit out of vox and focused on other things.  i'm not sure why vox is having problems but frankly i am getting tired of it.  augh!

in other news, in case you haven't noticed by my previous posts, i watched the dark knight movie on saturday night with my bros, sis and hubby.  the movie was excellent.  we went to the fox theater in westwood village and of course we had to wait in line, well my bro waited in line while we ate and took turns.  the seats were great and the theatre was awesome. 

heath leadger did a great job with the joker character and was trully AMAZING!  and no i'm not saying that because he's dead either!  i smiled throughout the whole flick and could not keep still in my seat.  as soon as the joker spoke his first words everyone erupted in laughter and clapped.  i have to admit i did too but after a while i was getting irked because i wanted to marinate in his every word.  there was no way i was going to miss a word but unfortunately i did (good excuse to see it again).  ledger really got into character and played the part even better than i expected.  BRILLIANT!!!  the costume changes were unbelieveable and all i can say it that i cannot wait for halloween!

the action seats blew me away.  christian bale was great as usual and all i kept thinking was the character he played on american psycho.  remember the scene where he is having sex with the hookers and he keeps looking at himself in the mirror?  LOL!  the stuff he said was hilarious.  anyway, this is a must see and will i be seeing this flick again?  F yeah!  duh.  and no, i don't believe in harvey dent!!!  although he was excellent. 

tonight hubby, dre, paulie and i are going to watch steely dan in concert at nokia live.  i cannot wait!

boy was this weekend hot or what?  well here is los angeles it was probably about 90 degrees all weekend and i almost thought it was summer time!  i was just getting used to the 70 degree weather and let me tell ya, i was in heaven!

on saturday afternoon we went to the pet expo and we should have skipped it because it was super crowed and way too hot to be walking around...plus fighting the crowds was a pain!  i told hubby that the pets smelled better than a lot of the peeps walking around, bumping into you and not saying "excuse me".

we got to see some adorable doggies that i wanted to take home that were up for adoption.  i probably shouldn't have checked that building out because i got all teary eyed looking at all those sad faces. 

we got to see saw some awesome anacondas, birds and other animals...

we didn't spend too much time there like i said it was too hot and too crowded.  later that evening we had dinner with my family to congratulate my brother raymond for passing a huge IT test for work on saturday.  congrats bro!!!


poor hubby got sick later that evening, i mean really sick...vomiting, fevers and all.  he is feeling better today, not sure if it was something he ate or the new antibiotics he is taking for his sinus infection.

sunday i met ana (mamirosa), her daughter sofia, her bff andrea, her bloggie buddies; vero (la vero), her sons and ana (ana banana) @ plaza mexico.

we had so much fun chit chatting and getting to know each other better.  it really is a small world! 

we had lunch, (thanks again to ana banana and vero for treating!  you guys are too kind).  *hugs*

dessert, well i shouldn't really call it that.  mamirosa, ana, and i got a spicy and sour shaved iced called "el diablito" that i couldn't finish.  too spicy but it certainly was good!  now i know why it's called that...little devil!
sofia is such a pretty girl. oh my goodness i cannot get over how adorable she is!

Oh, Vox how I love you!  You made my Christmas even more special when I read from Bonita in Pink yesterday that one of my photos had made your explorer page...finally! ;)   I was so excited when I saw it that I told my family, "hey I'm famous"!

Did you know that Vox is the Latin word for voice?

I'm thinking about just staying with Vox and doing all my journal entries here instead of going back and forth with Wordpress.  For all you guys that have a main blog and use this as a whatever/misc blog, what do you think?  Why do you guys have 2? For me, it's beginning to be more of a hassle to update 2 plus I'm starting to double up...know what I mean?

I'm not really sure what to use VOX for?  I know it sounds like a retarded question but it's the truth.  I guess I'm getting confused on what to use it for, specifically.  I write personal stuff on Lady M's Journal but then what do I  need this for?  I guess for randomness?  And what is randomness really???  I'm cornfused..lol. :)  What do you guys think?  What do you guys use it for?
